PRELIMINARY DESIGNS

In the beginning stages of the design process, there were several preliminary designs that included different fonts, patterns, color schemes, and logos. From the beginning, we wanted to maintain the same homey feel that reflects the environment that The Lodge will cultivate with their new, gorgeous facility. In nearly all of the proposed designs, the same teal and natural colors were proposed that give The Lodge not only a woodsy and rustic feel but also emulates the color scheme of the physical building. Along with the colors, we proposed a few different logos, patterns, and fonts that we felt represented the Lodge’s style. The key, as seen in the final design, symbolizes the unlocking of excellent care for the residents at The Lodge. 

FINAL DESIGN

For the final design, we decided on a simple yet sleek and warm design. The focal point of the Lodge’s design stems from the inspiration of an old key. This is inspired by the design of an old key that has significance to their business team. The colors that are used establish a direct connection from the physical building to The Lodge’s brand. Together, the key and the color scheme perfectly weave together Louisiana-inspired imagery with a warm, cozy, and rustic feel.  Every aspect of the final design promotes a brand that reflects The Lodge’s mission; to help its residents enjoy a peaceful lifestyle in a comfortable environment.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The Lodge at Tangi Pines, located in Amite, LA, provides residents with 24-hour nursing care, hospice care, and in house physical rehabilitation. The Lodge’s mission is to provide its residents with exceptional care to help them enjoy a peaceful lifestyle in a comfortable environment. This new project not only reflects the soon-to-be external environment but also the internal level of care brought by The Lodge. Some of the new features of the building include but are not limited to: newly built private rooms and private showers, an updated rehabilitation and therapy area, a beauty salon, a chapel, an activity room, and a core nurse’s station.
